Model the behavior you hope to see.

When you’re in charge of a team, your team members look to you for signals on expected behavior. Sending emails at all hours of the day? You’re sending a signal that you want to see the same from your team. Supporting a hybrid workplace, yet you’re always in the office? You’re sending a signal that remote work is not okay. It doesn’t matter what you say, or how often you say it. It’s what you do that matters most.
