Master your own tech support.

It can seem overwhelming to be on your own with computers, printers, and networks that don’t always behave. It’s worth the time to learn enough about each one to do basic troubleshooting. Is the manual or user guide not helpful? Google the problem. If others are experiencing the same issue, they’ll likely have written about the solution. When things really start acting glitchy, turn the misbehaving device off and on again. Lastly, make sure you have a network of people or companies you can rely on to help when things really go awry.
